Starting my aviation journey in Hawaii while being stationed here has been both exciting and overwhelming. I visited several flight schools and, honestly, I was almost scared away from aviation altogether because of the high costs, limited aircraft availability, and lack of clear information. I even came close to committing to a school where I didn’t feel comfortable and began questioning whether this career path was really for me. As a last effort, I started looking online and came across flight instructor Keoni through TikTok. From our very first conversation, he was straightforward, honest, and transparent about the training process, costs, and expectations. There were no surprises or sales tactics—just clear information that helped me make an informed decision. I decided to take a discovery flight with him through George’s Aviation, and it was easily the best introductory flight experience I could have asked for. Compared to my previous experiences, the professionalism, aircraft availability, and upfront pricing made the transition into aviation much easier and far less stressful. What truly made the difference, however, was Keoni himself. As a flight instructor, he is extremely knowledgeable and brings a calm, confident presence to every lesson. As someone who was nervous about turbulence, flying, and learning an entirely new skill, his ability to stay cool, collected, and reassuring immediately put me at ease. He consistently reminds his students that no matter what happens, he is there to guide them through it safely and professionally. I’m sure George’s Aviation has many outstanding instructors, but speaking from my personal experience, training with Keoni has been incredible. In fact, I recommended a friend who was hesitant about getting into aviation, and I told him there was only one instructor I would trust to help him start the process. I am extremely excited to continue my training, earn my ratings, and pursue my aviation goals with George’s Aviation. My experience so far has been nothing short of outstanding, and I would highly recommend both the school and Keoni to anyone considering a career or hobby in aviation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I completed my flight training at Georges Aviation and can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I made. What sets this school apart is not only the quality of training but the culture they've built around their students. As the only FAA Part 141 flight school on the island, Georges Aviation provides a structured and professional training environment while still maintaining a personal, supportive atmosphere. The relationship between students and instructors is exceptional—everyone genuinely wants to see you succeed, and the instructors are approachable, knowledgeable, and invested in your progress. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, communication is efficient, and they have strong working relationships with local DPEs, which helps make the certification process much smoother. Unlike some other schools, there was no long waitlist, allowing me to start training and stay on track with my goals. Another major advantage is their maintenance program. Their aircraft are well-maintained, and the school's strong maintenance history gave me confidence every time I flew. The owners are fantastic people who truly care about both the success of their students and the long-term reputation of the school. Their commitment to professionalism, safety, and customer service is evident in every aspect of the operation. If you're considering flight training in Hawaii, I highly recommend Georges Aviation. I earned all of my ratings here, from Private Pilot through CFI, in just about a year, and I can honestly say George’s Aviation has been an incredible place to train. The aircraft are well maintained, the maintenance team is phenomenal, and the recent leadership changes have brought a lot of positive momentum to the school. The instructors genuinely care about student success and create a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment.
